The Chamber offers preparation of studies and researches, and initiates the necessary policies and procedures to organize and develop the industrial activities, the existing industries along with the necessary tools of success.
Sharjah’s Government is dedicated to provide all desires including the infrastructure for the expansion of all industrial activity through Sharjah which applies international specifications and standards in respect of its product classifications. Thus businessman find easy to export and sell goods of internationally recognized quality.
Industrial sector covers 26 square km with 2649 individual plots of between 10,000 and 20,000sq.ft. It lies on the west of the city which is the ideal location for Sharjah’airports and seaports.
Industrial area represents 40% of the power housing areas and is connected by a modern road network to air and seaports along with Industrial production costs of living and accommodation are 35% less than they are in the other Emirates and Power and water are also subsidized to an extent of 70% by the Government of Sharjah.
The Chamber has also established the Industrial Development Department, which assists in the operational stage by conducting field studies and estimating progress. The Department also assists in full capability production and advises on ways and means of overcoming difficulties. |
